I have read up on Checkpoint's Secure Defense and for the price, it certainly seems like a worthwhile product.
However, does Secure Defense take the place of an intrusion detection system? I have a huge project coming up that will require a more robust IDS than what I am currently using. I'm doing the normal web research but as you can imagine, things can get a little confusing.
Any recommendations of commercial IDS systems you are currently using would also be appreciated.
