You want to check how you have the encryption domain specified for the
NetScreen. We had exactly the same problem yesterday, and our definition of
the NetScreen had no encryption domain specified. Any time you see the
"Cannot identify peer" message, check the remote's definition.

|
>----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Hello there,

I'm trying to establish a VPN between a Checkpoint and a netscreen.

I can ping from netscreen's encryption domain to Checkpoint's encryption
domain.

But when I try pinging from checkpoint's encryption domain to netscreen's
I got a drop with "Cannot Identify peer gateway : VPN Error code 2".

And I can't find what it means ...

Any ideas ?

JF
