Here is the setup: Checkpoint 4.1 SP5 in cluster mode (old HA) on two solaris boxes. Every now and then, this pattern of messages comes up: ctl node2 >lo0 High Availability: Interface Active Check detected a problem (only 13 interfaces OK (14 required)). Machine not blocked. ctl node1 >lo0 High Availability: Interface Active Check detected a problem (only 13 interfaces OK (14 required)). Blocking state at DEAD. ctl node2 >lo0 High Availability: Machine xx.xx.xx.xx (no. 1) went down. The "cphaprob -a if" command never reports any problems. As far as I can see, there is no impact on the firewall itself when this occured. Has anybody come accros this kind of messages ? Thanks in advance.
