However if you're using VPN you NEED to license to external or else use
Central licensing, which better anyway.

checkpoint

If your license is using the external ip provided by your ISP then yes
you
need a new license, but it should be possible to change your address via
the
user centre. A better idea would be to license on the internal ip
address of
you firewall and that way if you change ISPs etc then no change is
required.

I see no one has responded to my ISP change email yet,
but I have been poking around and have found that
since our external IP address is changing we have to
get a new license from Checkpoint, is this true?

Thanks,
TAZ
