I just installed SPLAT NGAI R55 for testing on a new Poweredge 650 for a management server. Everything seems to work fine, but when I execute a shutdown command, the system says it is halting, but never announces it's safe to turn off. Is this normal? I'm not too bothered by it, but I'd like to apply a hotfix if one is available.
Also, when I tried to apply the Backup Hotfix through SmartUpdate it didn't recognize the management server as available for the hotfix. I applied it locally using tftp and it worked fine, but I was curious as to why it couldn't be applied through SmartUpdate. Just wondering if anyone else had run into these issues.
