I may be biting off more than I can chew, but I'm trying to migrate from a Windows 2000 server running Primary Management NGAI-R54 to SPLAT NGAI-R54 on a different machine with a different IP and hostname. Is this even possible? The Checkpoint doc on "How to Upgrade a Management Server" doesn't say anything about the import/export utilities or anything.
The reason I'm trying to do this is to separate the firewall from a AD Domain Controller and avoid Windows OS patches. It seems as though a different OS is easy, or a different IP/hostname is easy, but the combo is proving quite difficult. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
