hi fw-1 world, i have 2 may be coresponding problems: 1. it is not working if i try to add a new computer account to a nt domain through a securemote connection (dail in). i tried to create the account with the remote computer in the networksettings (windws xp). message: no access to the domain controler i tried to create the account with the servermanager on the domaincontroler. result: account is existing now (with name) but the remote computer is always unable to connect. i tried to create the account with the remote computer WHILE DIRECT connected to the lan. this has worked. now the computer is able to connect remote to !!!! i am (hopefully) shure that all networksettings on the remote computers are ok. i cant find any droped packed in the log, all seems to be fine.
2. i tried to establish a domain trust between to site which are connected through vpn. the name resolution for both domains on both sites are working (domain names are resolved as a ip adress...). it is possible to map networkdrives between the to domain controlers in both directions.
