You don't have to reboot. It is used by CP if that's your IPSec daemon, IPSO if that
is your IPSec provider of choice. Broadcomm's are either no longer supported or
depricated. Whether or not it's worth it...well, that would depend. If the answer is
"no" to the question "Do you use IPSec," then it's not worth it. If "yes", then ...
well, it still depends.

Also, If you do have it, you may need to do a reboot, as opposed to a
CPSTOP/CPSTART...it is used by Nokia, not so much Check Point.
