1. Yes u can do it while running, no re-install needed
2. Whell since r54 (AI) u cannot use "3rd party configuration" config if state sync 
interface is not defined so yes u need it.
3. State sync interface is defined on the cluster object and not cpconfig.

Hi there,

we are now considering a failover solution using Nokia VRRPmc. I have most
of the info I need, but a couple of questions remain:

3.) I assume I can setup VRRP on a running system, or do I need to reinstall
CP?
2.) Is the state-sync interface a requirement or does it work without
state-sync?
3.) How do I enable a state-sync interface? I don't see anything in
cpconfig.
