We have a client still running 4.1 [yes they are moving towards NG] They are
contemplating switching ISPS. I believe I know the answer to this question, be need
to ask for my own sanity :) The second they change the external interface/ & FW
objects to make use of the new IPs the checkpoint license essentially becomes
invalid... is that correct? Since 4.1 is non longer unsupported will they have any
problems with checkpoint in getting a new license? Assuming they are able to get the
license changed or reissued ... a putlic should put their firewall back in operation?

Does all that sound about right? I've also advised on about 1-2 hours of downtime
[feasible or too long?]

Thanks!
