I've ran it on it DL320's,60's and 80s'on R54 G1 - 3 and doubt you will have any issues on the ML range. I've (fingers crossed) been running a few DL320 G1s for a couple of years with no issues and no reboots (now I've done it :o))
Just crack in the smartstart disk... Partition the drive and set up your mirror...
