Make sure that CP license is not based on external IP address and the
topology setting for a firewall object are changed.

Subject: [FW-1] change ext. ip address

I have Win2003 server running AI- R55. I need to change the ext. ip address

on the server. What is the best method.

1) change ip address on ext. nic on Win2003 first.

2) Enter into SmartDashboard and change ip address on main firewall

object

3) Change ip addresses on all hiding/static nats

4) Make new objects to support spoofing

5) Change routes on Win2003 server

6) Compile rules

Does the above sound good? Any suggestions.

Thank You,

Curtis Moon
