Hi!

I did the upgrade too.

We upgraded both Machines (HA) via mds-setup.
Then we did a mds-backup and reinstalled the R55 clearly on both server.
After a mds-restore all worked properly with the new version.

I have upgraded from R54 to R55 yes, but in a single management
environment.

You could just upgrade the provider by running mds_setup.
It will search you configuration and upgrade it for you. It worked
for me when I tested it in lab.

However I always deinstall the old provider, install a new provider
and then import all CMA's. The reason for this is that I don't really
like the upgrade-script from CP. It creates a new set of directories
and stuff.

This could ofcourse be a problem in a double management environment,
but I haven't tried that.
