No, but we run all IE usage through a proxy. We occasionally see this in IE when you try to go to an invalid URL and the proxy keeps trying. This causes IE to appear to freeze while the proxy is doing its thing. This is with or without SecureClient, though.
We never see it on intranet sites that bypass the proxy, whether using SecureClient or not.
