The load sharing suspend timeout in a UFP group's properties is specified in minutes, however 60 seconds is a long time to time out prior to attempting to connect to another UFP server in the group. Can this value be specified in seconds in the objects_5_0.C file?
the relevant key is load_sharing_suspend_timeout This is to try and address the painful timeout we have when one of the UFP servers goes down. Since the load balancing for UFP seems woefully simplistic in FP3, this seems the only option available other than to load balance the UFP servers separate to firewall-1 and specify a singe UFP resource object in the policy. Does anyone have any experience in getting around this issue? -- Jag Bains Network Security Engineer Boxing Orange Ltd t: 0871 871 2774 f: 0871 871 0068 [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.boxingorange.com/ This message (and any associated files) is intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is confidential, subject to copyright or constitutes a trade secret.
