I have done a similar thing with a different type of switch, so therefore it is possible. However, I do not have any documentation on how to do it because I used the Nokia documentation and the "Doc" link within voyager for information on how to set this up.
Basically you need to setup your VLANs on the switch like you normally would, and in order to set the VLANs on the Nokia device, you need to go to the physical interface setup screen. I know this is not a lot of information, but hopefully it helps, Chris -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Badhe, Ganesh [ETS/STL] Sent: Friday, July 16, 2004 4:27 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [FW-1] VLAN Tagging and Trunking Hi... I would like to do VLAN tagging and trunking between Nokia firewall and Cisco 6509. I think it is possible. Please let me know if any one has done this, send me some documents about this configuration Thanks and Regards, Ganesh Badhe Emerson Telecommunication Services Technical Consultant Work: 314-553-1505 Cell: 314-629-3244 ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
