Hi! I've successfully migrated a cluster from 4.1 to NG AI. During upgrade the Management Server moved from one of the cluster nodes to a separate SmartCenter server. As I used the Advanced Upgrade function the UnixInstaller installed the same products on the SmartCenter server that were installed on the old system. So I have a SmartCenter with enabled VPN-1 gateway now which tries to install a policy. I don't need special security on that system as it is placed in a secure network and I want to remove the gateway functionallity so that it acts the same as a fresh installed management server.
I also thought of exporting the migrated policy again and import it to another server with same IP and name but only with the SmartCenter component installed but the migration guide says that I have to install exactly the same products on the new system before import. Has anybody tried this and can tell me if this produces any errors? Thanx!
