Dear all,
I got a question about upgrading a firewall cluster which is using Check
Point FW-1/VPN-1 and Rainfinity RainWall 3.1 SP1. By right, I should upgrade the
Management Server then follow by the enforcement servers. Under cluster mode, both
enforcement servers are communicate using a synchronisation link or 'heartbeat'.
RainWall remote management is installed at Management servers while both RainWall
modules are at enforcement server. By the way, our firewall is running on Windows and
Solaris (for enforcement modules). So, with this kind of setup, what should I take
note or consider before I proceed with the upgrade? Is there any 'gotchas' that I
should look for? Thanks for your help.
