Hello!

We have enabled SMTP CVP, through eTrust gateway, in FW-1 R55 HFA08.
Our problem is that when the emails have passed the CVP check, the
SMTP connection to the internal email server is made from the internal
IP number of the firewall. So the SMTP connection changed from
transparent to proxy when CVP was enabled.

The internal email server uses the IP number of the connecting SMTP
server for different antirelay/antispam checks, so we must see only
the external IP-number in the SMTP connections to the internal email
server, after the CVP checks. Not the internal IP-number of FW-1.

Is this possible, and how could this be done?

Thanks!
