As l recall we used the pre_ugrade verifier to check for show stoppers:
pre_upgrade_verifier -p /opt/FireWall* -c 4.1 -t NG_FP3 -f
pre_upgrade_verifier.out

And then after ensuring there were no show stoppers, we ran the migrate script.

Our setup was IPSO 3.5 FC10 and 4.1 SP6.

l forgot the name of the migrate script we used, but it was the free one
one the checkpoint site. l can't seem to find it on their site now.

Make sure you do not upgrade IPSO until after you have installed NG FP3 and
ensured all is well. The migrate tool will not work if you are running
above IPSO 3.5.

Another recommendation is to upgrade you RAM to 512 if you have not already
done so.
