I did have the same problem but with a [EMAIL PROTECTED] S-200 BOX.
I tried to upgrade the firmware to 4.5.x and the file was filed, also i
tried with a prior version and nothing. (upgrade remotly)
The second time i tried to upgrade directly connected with a laptop and
nothing (upgrade local)
I dont know, i thing that the appliance did not work because it are not
connected with the UserCenter, Ill try this point now and soon i say you.
Bye.

The first time I tried to take an XU from 4.5.39 (factory) to 4.5.44 it gave
the same message. The second time it worked. I have done it from across the
VPN in the past but this time I did it from a local laptop on the Edge's
internal network.

I don't think you can get the firmware from Sofaware. An FAQ said it has to
come from Check Point.
