The Web interface can be disabled by the "webui disable" command from the command line
in Standard mode but I wouldn't really suggest this. I would change the default port
for the web interface instead indicated lower.

The default port of the Web interface in SecurePlatform is HTTPS 443. The default port
can be changed in from the command line in Standard mode, as follows:

1) Login to SecurePlatform in Standard mode, either locally or in SSH session.
2) Type the command:
webui enable <https_port_number>
The message will appear:
Shutting down cp_http_server_wd [OK]
Shutting down cpwmd_wd [OK]
Running cp_http_server_wd [OK]
Running cpwmd_wd [OK]

NOTE: After the Web interface changes to the new port, the current Web interface will
no longer work. The browser message displays: "Connection to server lost. Click OK to
reconnect"

Simon.

Subject: [FW-1] Disabling SPLAT WebGUI access TCP 443

My SPLAT R55 was originally installed with HTTPS enabled for WebGUI access.
The thing is I need to do port forwarding with the firewall IP to a web server that
listens to TCP443
in our DMZ. My port forwarding rules are properly defined but when we type in
https://firewall_IP it's the SPLAT
WebGUI authentication window that kicks in instead of my SSL/HTTPS authentication
window.

My question is how do I disable the WebGUI on SPLAT once it is installed?

Thank you

Braintek
