What process is eating all the CPU time? ps -ef may help, so may status
manager if it is a checkpoint process. Also use vmstat to see where that
proc time is going.
Also, Solaris 9 has been known to have some issues w/ multi-CPU's with
Check Point, without adding in Stonebeat. In my opinion, SB is a bad thing
to implement as I have seen nothing but long-term issues and most everyone
I know has ended up ripping it out for another solution.
Just my thoughts. You might want to check SecureKnowledge as well.

| Subject: [FW-1] About high cpu ratio consumption in machine with
more than one cpu |
>----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Hello Gurus,
I need the help of someone on the list, wee I have a machine with two
cpu's. The issue is that the cpu0 is which is consumed by the checkpoint
but the another cpu1 does not. I have NG AI + SBFC, Solaris 9.
Any Ideas ?
Regards
Edouard
