Yeah, well, in our case the company proxy will dutifully report it. :-)

One of the best things I ever did was put in the proxy with HTTP virus
scanning. Two years ago it might go off once a month; now it goes off almost
daily. Without it we would be relying solely on the desktop AV to stop a
virus initially and we all know what a bad idea that can be.

Ray,
There is another problem. As lame as it may be and I realize there are
several ways around this, remote users will now have to be sub-conscious
of where they are browsing from home when connected to the company VPN
via office mode. Don't want the company DNS server to know that I just
surfed to www.findanewjob.com or wherever.

Sure, isn't that how it's supposed to work? The internal DNS is a
superset
of the external DNS.

Why is this a problem for you, Gary?
