Install the Smart Gui on the workstation Run cpconfig on the management server (checkpoint configuration) - this enables which administrators from which 'gui clients' can connect to the management server ie define your ip address of the workstation.
Log into the management server from the checkpoint gui installed on the workstation. You will get a fingerprint which can be compared to the one on the management server through cpconfig. PS: Make sure during installation of the gui on the workstation that the fw-1 vpn-1 gateway box is NOT checked as this is NOT a gateway.
