Try using "rsync"
It will copy (using SCP or FTP) any directory you desire (you can configure it
to only "update" content so it wont copy existing files only newer files)

Subject: [FW-1] backup scripts? anyone?

I realize you use scp or the backup command on the SPLAT, Sol, LX, etc., FW1
boxes. However, has anyone come up with a handy script that will on a daily
basis back up all the logs to another server, but only backup thoses logs that
have not already been backed up?

I mean, I can easeily dump the whole 40G every night, but that is quite
excessive.

SPLAT running R55 NG AI

Thanks.
