We have the SecureClient Office Mode IP pool in the encryption domain of the R55 HFA12 gateway so SecureClient users can use NetMeeting between themselves. Having the Office Mode IP Pool as part of the encryption domain was one of the benefits of using the AI versions of NG, as I recall.
Now we're getting the "packet is from physical IP address but Office Mode is active" error message from some SecureClient users when they connect in. They can be in for about 20 minutes (Office Mode lease time is 15 minutes) and then all of a sudden they can't access anything.
sk25939 says a problem with an Avaya softphone is caused by having the Office Mode IP Pool as part of the encryption domain and the fix is to remove the Office Mode IP Pool from the encryption domain.
So, I'm a tad confused. Should I or shouldn't I have the Office Mode IP Pool as part of the encryption domain and why or why not?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Ray
