Both URLs go nowhere and I don't know what tool are you talking about.

>From CheckPoint Configuration I gather that CA is initialized and running
and Smartview Status checks all OK.

Image is pretty old and I just found another possible related error:

Can you connect to it via a browser? I can never remember which port it is:

Do you have the web CA management tool turned on? If so, what happens when
you try to connect to it?

How old is your management station backup? I've got mine on 2000 as well and
I image it every two weeks because I'm scared of having CA problems. A
restore might be the fastest option.
