Hi, does Floodgate have any issues if it is implemented in a loadbalancing environment?
We installed it on a SPLAT with NG AI R55 and Cluster XL in loadbalancing mode. It seems that floodgate works partly. The bandwidth configured on the interfaces does have effect. If we decrease the bandwidth on the interface downloads are slower. If I want to configure bandwidth-restrictions with rules, it seems to have no effect. In detail I played around with my host and restricted the access of this host to the internet. I did restriction with "limit" and "guarantee", not with "weight", because this would have no effect. I tested it with http- and ftp-downloads. Even if the "limit" is quite low, I still have the same bandwidth as before. I'm not using any proxy-server for ftp or http, and I'm testing with a ftp- and http-server, which has no bandwidth-restrictions configured.
