It seems I found the path but to accomplish I need spesification for fields
in con_* tables of the old (R55) database and the new (R56) one. The best
is full spesification for databases.
If somone can provide this information please let me know.

Thanks,
Andrey.

There really is no migration path because, as you noted, the backend
database changed. With the R56 version, you must install the R56 version
of
the SmartConsole client for R56 Reporter. You can still use the R55
versions
for all other functions, but you must use the R56 version for Reporter.

The poloicy and log consolidator stuff has been removed from Dashboard and
incorporated into the R56 SmartConsole client. You now make all of your
settings there.

Subject: [FW-1] Reporter R55 to R56

Hi!
I'm trying to migrate from Reporter R55 to R56 and faced with a few
questions:
1. How can I import to R56 database table from R55 (They have different
export file formats).
2. When R56 is installed I can't view from Dashboard log consolidator
status
and install consolidation policy (It says: "Could not check engine status.
Instalation aborted" ). But in reporter client I can see that
consolidation
in progress and can even generate reports.

Details:
Previous configuration: FW1&SmartCenter (R55) on SPLAT + ReporterServer
(R55) on WindowsXP Pro.
Trying to set up: FW1&SmartCenter (R55) & ReporterServer (R56) on SPLAT.

Any help is appreciated but it would be better to get some docs on
migrating
from r55 to r56 reporter server.

Thanks,
Andrey.
