and log into your User Center account. The first link is titled "Checks for
installation of Service Pack 2 for XP" and has the syntax you will need.

Subject: [FW-1] SCV / RegMonitor Syntax
Date: Thu, 13 Jan 2005 19:36:15 -0000

Hello,

What's the correct syntax for using the 'string' option as part of
RegMonitor within local.scv?

If an XP machine is upgraded to Service Pack 2 then a key exists, but if
the
machine comes pre-installed with SP2 then only a value of a key exists. At
the moment my local.scv contains the following line under RegMonitor:-

:string ("Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\CSDVersion==Service
Pack 2")

This isn't working, and I'm guessing it's a syntax issue but due to the
lack
of decent information in the manual I can't tell for sure.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Seb
