I think the LF-CR message refers to the line break sequence CRLF and there was a hf in hfa07 that improved the error message. Please apply the latest HFA to your module to better understand what is happening. Check to see your smtp resource action 2 tab is set to '8-bit' or '7-bit' as "allowed characters".
Here is the description on the HFA_07: R55_07-35 SmartDefense - General: Improved error message in SmartView Tracker: Illegal LF-CR combination in HTTP header. Enforcement Module HTH, Rajeev -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tom Stala Sent: Friday, January 14, 2005 9:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] Firewall Log Information "Illegal LF-CR combination " I am seeing some rejects in my logs which I am curious as to what they are actually talking about. I have been looking for a refference on HTTP headers but I have not found anything on this error. "Information: message_info: Illegal LF-CR combination in HTTP header" I am clueless on the LF-CR part as to what that is reffering to. ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
