Hi Seung,

Please make sure that you have your Network Interface configured in the
ifdev file inside the /etc/fw.boot folder , e.g. if you have a qfe
interface , you should definitely have an entry saying "qfe accept "

Also, please do not reboot the firewall till the time you make this
entry.

Do let me know if this helps.

Warm Regards

Subject: [FW-1] R55 install on Solaris

I've just installed a clean copy of Solaris 9 and a new install of NG-AI
R55 HFA04. When I run "cpconfig" for the first time after installation,
I get the following error:

...(omitted)

IP forwarding disabled

Hardening OS Security: IP forwarding will be disabled during boot.

Generating default filter

Killed

cp: cannot access /opt/CPfw1-R55/state/default.bin

Cannot copy default filter to /etc/fw.boot

Cpconfig: Configuration aborted

What am I missing or what am I doing wrong?
