You tried from Policy>>Convert to>> Simplified Mode VPN??

This create a new Policy Package, and it doesn't install until you install
it.
You can to be sure that your firewall doesn't stop.

Asunto: [FW-1] Convert simplified mode to traditional mode VPN rulebase

Hello Gurus,
I have a NG FP3 Firewall on which I would like to build VPN rules to
configure gateway VPN using traditional mode configuretion. I did not
realize untill recently that simplified mode is already selected in
the global properties & I may not be able to change the mode selection
in global properties to build the VPN rules using traditional mode.
I selected traditional mode in global properties that did not give me
option to build the rules for VPN.
I would appreciate if anybody can suggest me what need to be done to
resolve the above issue.

Thanks
Rbhan
