Basically I believe that "Checkpoint Express" is as close as you will get now to a limited-node firewall-only license. I don't think you can buy one without VPN support in the license, but that doesn't mean you can't turn the VPN features off if you're not using them. As far as I know, the licenses are fairly cheap. Mind you, I usually leave all that up to the pre-sales folks.
