I don't know exactly how CheckPoint has implemented it's ISP redundancy feature but I would bet that it's working a bit like RainConnect or LinkProof.
A little bit of NAT for outgoing connexions and some DNS magic for incoming connexions with some monitoring of ISP connectivity.
