Hi Folks, I am running a SIP_Proxy on the external segment of checkpoint firewall. All internal users have voip phone that need to be registered with SIP_Proxy for making voice calls.
I have opened relevant ports and have created a rule in smartdashboard. However i am not able to regsiter though checkpoint logs shows the packet accepted. I am doing a static nat for this voip phone object in checkpoint firewall. I have created a checkpoint host object for voip. Let me know if i am doing something wrong !!! LAN (VOIP PHONE - 10.10.10.1) ----10.10.10.2---> Checkpoint -1.1.1.1-----> SIP Proxy (1.1.1.2) VOIP phone is static natted to 1.1.1.3 Checkpoint logs shows the traffic as accepted and not drop is being seen. I have also disabled the smartdefense signature for VoIP. I am using Snom which is a german product and that runs on sip and not h323. How compatible is checkpoint with sip ?
