Hi Got a resilient switch setup with a nokia plugged in to its own switch and the switches having a trunk between them (Cisco kit). Using Nokia IP Cluster.
I've set up the cisco's with CAM entries pointing to the local port and tothe second switch and the router has the arp entries. Both Nokias come up as master. Looking at a TCPdump for the Nokia Cluster Sync, looks like the KEEPALIVE messages aren't going across - they both have outbound KEEPALIVES, but I don't see inbound. (I tested it on a lab cluster here and I could see both in and out traffic) What is the cluster traffic and what why would the switch be stopping it? Who said this stuff was simple!!
