Hi all !
I've got a first answer from C.P. partner and the missing voice "Connection
Persistence" seems to be a bug, operating between IPSO 3.8 and CP Express
R55. They gave me an Enterprise eval license and are now working a trouble
ticket directly in Israel...

Yes I can allow it per single service and it works (just using the
advanced
tab on the service dialog). But I need to do it with the whole RPC
protocol
:-(

Some sellers of my company are making a study 'bout the differences
between
Enterprise and Express (beside the obvious ones), since the costs
differences are really gargantuan !!!
I'll let you know...

I would think that with express not allowing this on a global scale, the
per service persistency would not also be allowed. On your express
manager is this option available per service? I do not have an express
manager to check.
On that note, does any one have a listing of the actual difference's
between express and enterprise, besides limited nodes? In addition to
the global persistency I know of SAM blocking not being available with
express.

Thanks, GS

Ok. So my options are

1 - Define it per single service
2 - Upgrade to Enterpirse product

is this correct ?
Thanx a lot

You are running CP express. With this you do not get the persistence
option.

Subject: [FW-1] Connection Persistence

Hi guys !
I'm having this problem with NG R55 : I want to enable the connection
persistence, but when I go in the advanced proprieties of my gateway /
cluster object (IPSO 3.8 + VRRP), there's no "Connection Persistence"
tab. I
have only SMTP and Permission to Install.

Somebody told me that this could be a version problem from 4.1 to
NG...
Is
this correct ?

Thanx to all

L.
