Thank you John, You saved me some testing...have you tried the Command Line Interface (CLI mode) in the SecureRemote/Client. It is one of those obscure commands that you can use to change the mode in command line...it is not available in the GUI screen....but it can be chosen in command line.
Try looking at Checkpoint Solution ID: sk22296 for CLI mode SecureClient can work in 3 modes: 1) Transparent 2) Connect 3) CLI Once SecureClient is in Connect Mode, switch to Command Line Interface mode: On SecureClient 1) Select > Start > Run and in Open field type " cmd" to go to command prompt 2) Type "cd C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\SecuRemote\bin" to change current directory to SecuRemote bin directory 3) Type "scc setmode cli" to switch to Command Line Interface mode System displays "Switched successfully to Command Line mode There are some commands available here to start and stop SC, etc... To switch SecureClient back to Connect Mode: 1) Type "scc setmode connect", system displays: "Switched successfully to Connect mode" Note: User must have local admin rights on machine to run CLI mode commands. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2005 1:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FW-1] VPN-1 SecuRemote Auto-login. Sal, FYI, I just installed build 619 and it functions the same way - I still need to click "Connect". If there's anyone from Checkpoint reading this, please explain why "auto-connect" is no longer a feature with newer versions of SecuRemote.
