We have a Checkpoint Firewall and use SecureClient R56 to connect to it via VPN.
We now have two issues: 1. We uninstalled the SecureClient on some machines and tried to reinstall it, anf the SR_Service does not come up again. It seems the Checkpoint Miniport driver is missing (CP_FW1MP) and does not get installed again during the reinstall. SR_Service.exe prints out that it cannot find /Device/FW1 multiple times. Has anyone ever heard of such an issue? 2. The remote clients can no longer update their topology with out site. When one has an up2date policy, the connection, however, works. Just not the Update fo the topology (Update Site). It _does_ work occasionally, tho, about once in 20 tries. When I try the Policy Update from within our local network, it works, tho, this just happens from the "outside". If anyone knows about anything that could help here, please let me know.
