Just to follow up on this... this crash repeated at the same time three days in a row. We now believe it is caused by an ARCserve backup connection to an agent on a host in our DMZ. The ARCserve agent connection uses ports 6050 and 6051, both TCP and UDP. Maybe the R55 NG AI module is expecting the traffic to be X Windows (based on the port numbers) and breaking when it isn't? Looks like I will need to log a ticket with Checkpoint.
