nokia ipso and checkpoint wrapper (exactly same version), i went thru
cpconfig, reconfigure CA, and then restore my previous backup. After I
reboot the box, I can't get back my previous policy, and it is as if a
fresh installation.
It sounds like you didn't the Checkpoint product in the backup menu. If
that's the case, then you would be looking at what looks like a fresh
installation.
