I would like to integrate some basic system monitoring on my
firewalls. They are all SPLAT NG AI R55 on IBM x336 servers.
We are currently running a Big Brother/Hobbit mix, with a preference for
Big Brother. I would like to duplicate the basic Big Brother client stuff
(cpu, disk etc) as well as including counts for packet statistics.
I am looking either for a bundled RPM client I can install on this version
of SPLAT, or a SNMP script for external monitoring. I have the CheckPoint
MIB info so could eventually build a script myself, but I'm looking to
shortcut the process a bit!
If anybody has had experience with this, or can point me to the right
resources, I would be most appreciative.
