1. Run Upgrade-Export on your SMARTCenter, to make a backup copy of your current configuration. 2. Install Check Point SMARTCenter on your new platform (additional steps maybe required depending on platform). 3. Run Upgrade-Import, to import your existing settings. 4. Re-Validate your local licence which is no doubt applied to the SMARTCenter, you will have a second licence either local or central for the enforcement module's external IP which is fine. As you will have a different IP and hostname you will need to re-establish your ICA. 5. Delete the SMARTCenter software from your previous system. 6. You will need to delete/edit objects/rules in your SMARTDashboard to reflect all these changes, and create a new Check Point Gateway. Once you establish SIC you should be fine.
