what you want to do is to is: 1) tar up everything in the /config directory in the IPSO 380. This can be done via shell and cron in the nokia itself.
2) move this tar file from the ip380 to ip530, 3) untar this file (tar -xvf), 4) find out where the "active" file is pointing to in the db directory, 5) move this file into the /config/db directory of your IP530, 6) vi into this file and make necessary changes, 7) Apply this file and reboot, I do this all the times Wayne Ho <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Does anyone try to backup IPSO config from IP380 and restore to another box, let say IP530?
