Hi,

I'm facing something quite bizar, i have a static route on my firewall and
with a tracepath i see that this firewall always takes another route.
The static must use 10.32.16.50.
Can someone explain me way this happens?

ucc-fw-01[admin]# traceroute -n 10.32.32.2
traceroute to 10.32.32.2 (10.32.32.2), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
 1 10.32.100.34 1.635 ms 0.310 ms 0.211 ms

Is 10.32.100.34 a different host from 10.32.16.50? Or is the host with
10.32.100.50 generating ICMP messages with a source of 10.32.100.34?

Do a packet capture when you do the trace route and check that the
packets have a link layer destination address of 0:12:3f:20:17:fa.
If they do, everything is fine.
