I had the same problem and switched to SCP The link below has a ssh server that works OK on 2k Pro, have not tried it on other platforms

The backup log on splat says "Failed to transfer the package to the remote server.", but I do see a file on my tftp server. Everytime I do a backup, it transfers a .tgz file that's exactly 32,768 kb. When I try to decompress it, winzip spits out the error message: "invalid compressed data - unable to inflate". Gzip gives a similar error. I've used both solar wind's tftp server, and 3com's tftp server.
