Depends on what you need, we are running an X40 for our site, and I absolutely love it. I also have a connectra test box on SPLAT and it runs well also. We went with the X40 because of the possibility of running multiple best of breed apps on it. It also has load balancing built in so no need to buy an extra clusterxl license or another load balancer.

One of the questions is whether to use FW-1 on a standard Intel server or to use a special-purpose optimized version of FW-1 on a dedicated hardware platform such as Nokia firewall appliance or Crossbeam systems C30/X40. Does anyone have any advice on what factors are important when making such a decision? Thanks, Emily _________________________________________________________________ Don't just search. Find.
