The typical procedure for install the FW on windows is to make sure all
your routing works before you install the firewall.
So, before installing the FW, were you able to verify that routing
worked for all the interfaces?

Or it could be as simple as name resolution. DNS server working or is
DNS allowed through fw?

Hi,

1. preventing browsing from the system itself may be caused by the
enhanced ie security or by not having the implied rule 'allow
connections from the firewall'

2. preventing connections from inside may be caused by not having
forwarding enabled or missing nat

Regards,

Werner

I have installed CP NG R55 on Windows 2003 server. All the configuration
done smoothly but the only problem is I can't browse Internet from
Firewall it self and from inside network as well. Any work around.

Thanks & Regards,

Naeem
